Harmonic Minute
This one’s for anyone looking to bring a new product, service, initiative or offer to market.
We all fall into the trap of loving our products a little too much or simply being too close to them.
There’s a huge amount of work involved in getting something out in the market and it’s easy to get caught up in the features and benefits, but the truth is no-one really cares about these things.
Your customers and prospects only care about something that will solve their problems.
If you think you’re off the mark at all or your messaging it too technical, do more research.
This doesn’t mean endless focus groups. It means talking to people and asking for feedback, doing a pilot, running tests and iterating – all before you spend the big bucks and launch.
This is where the power of strategic relationships comes into its own.
Remember: Conversations = Cashflow
This feedback is a gift. Use it in all your marketing and communications, keeping your eye squarely focused on the problems customers are trying to solve.
Without this lens, your product will fail, no matter how amazing it is.
